Our UK team is looking forward to welcoming a DevOps Engineer to our Managed Services team to build, deploy and maintain systems and solutions for Roboyo's customers. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work alongside application engineers to ensure vital platforms are performant and well maintained to take customers to the next level.

Within this role, your responsibilities and tasks will include:
  • Installing, deploying, configuring and maintaining the docker/Kubernetes cluster itself through deployment pipelines and automation.
  • Experience in Docker orchestration and Docker containerisation using Kubernetes and knowledge and awareness of Kubernetes such as storage (PV), networking (Services, Endpoints, DNS).
  • Knowledge on Linux Administration/System Management/Automation skills.
  • Understand, monitor and work to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) through Service Level Objectives (SLO) and Service Level Indicators (SLI).
  • Liaise with client technical and business teams as needed to ensure an effective solution is implemented.
  • Available to provide on-call support as part of a rota for high priority tickets.
  • Continual improvement of service to our clients ensuring the required impact is met.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in hands-on creating and supporting services on Azure and Kubernetes Azure (AKS).
  • Experience in creating and managing production scale Kubernetes clusters.
  • Support our Kubernetes based projects to resolve critical and complex technical issues.
  • Experience in programming IT solutions, preferably with shell scripting languages and Python.
  • Have or meet UK Enhanced Security checks to support clients of national importance.
  • Available for out of hours on-call to support priority incidents.
  • Kubernetes certification is a big plus.
  • ITIL certification or experience in service management would be a bonus.
  • Good communication skills and social competence for strong customer relationships.
