Job Description

The Digital Campaign Manager plays a key role in planning, executing, and optimising digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Working closely with internal teams and clients, they ensure strategic objectives are met, leveraging data-driven insights and marketing automation to drive engagement, lead generation, and business growth. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with social platforms and marketing automation platforms.

Working with

  • Internal: Strategy, Senior management; Client Services Teams. Content and creative teams; Internal Marketing
  • External: Client communications & marketing teams, including Marketing Directors and Digital Leads; Media and advertising partners; SEO and paid media specialists; CRM and automation platform providers.
  • The Digital Campaign Manager will report into the Planning team and may oversee partnerships.

Responsible for

  • External
    • Developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, including social, search, and email marketing, to support client objectives.
    • Planning and making channel recommendations based on client objectives. Serving as a strategic consultant to clients on their go-to-market plans, developing media strategies, defining the optimal audience, recommending the right channel mix (based on objectives and audience), and optimising content strategies and ABM campaigns.
    • Providing informed audience insights based on media and data analysis.
    • Managing media planning and buying, setting budgets, and optimising spend across platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Ads, and programmatic channels.
    • Utilising CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce, Marketo) to deliver integrated, multi-touchpoint campaigns.
    • Setting campaign KPIs, measuring and analysing campaign performance, and providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and effectiveness.
    • Collaborating with content, creative, and technical teams to advise on compelling campaign assets.
    • Desirable - Experience managing different media partnerships.
    • Desirable - Overseeing database marketing strategies, segmenting customer lists, and implementing nurture campaigns to drive long-term engagement.
  • Internal
    • Creating and implementing digital marketing strategies to enhance the agency's own brand awareness, lead generation, and prospect nurturing.
    • Establishing best practices for social selling, leveraging LinkedIn and other platforms to engage and convert prospects.
    • Managing SEO efforts, working with external specialists to optimise the agency's website and improve search rankings.

Personal requirements

Experience:

  • Experienced in CRM and marketing automation platforms, able to execute and optimise campaigns effectively (Pardot & Hubspot preferred).
  • Skilled at multi-channel campaign management, including social, search, and email marketing.
  • Strong communicators with the ability to consult with clients and present insights persuasively.
  • Team player, comfortable working across departments and mentoring junior staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strategic thinkers with a data-driven approach to digital marketing.
  • Proactive problem solvers, able to adapt strategies based on data and industry trends.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring campaigns are executed with precision and align with client objectives.
  • Passionate about B2B marketing, with an understanding of how to engage niche audiences effectively.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, Martech platform updates, and best practices to ensure campaigns remain effective and innovative.
