As the Digital Commerce & Trading Manager, you'll play a supporting role in shaping the digital trading agenda and setting our ongoing strategy, as we seek to achieve significant business growth. Through continuous journey optimisation, funnel conversion improvement, product development, and transformational delivery, you'll aim to deliver ambitious volume and value growth. This requires careful planning, business case development, and robust measurement to ensure customer experience enhancing deliverables unlock maximum business value.

We're looking for someone who has managed business trading plans and possesses a strong track record of opportunity identification and delivery, with measurable results. You'll be highly analytical with a commercial mindset, and able to step away from the detail and maintain sight of the bigger picture. You'll ensure regular product and customer experience improvements are driving maximum value and align to a broader vision.

What will I be doing?
  • Strategy & Performance: Help deliver and support the AA's strategy and performance plan, including the investment and benefits profile.
  • Trading Plans: Support, monitor, and manage the Servicing, Roadside, and App trading plans.
  • Growth Initiatives: Deliver volume and value growth through customer engagement, funnel conversion improvement, product development, pricing changes, whilst informing transformational change initiatives.
  • Digital KPIs: Manage the AA's digital KPIs, setting and tracking stretching targets aligned to the broader business vision.
  • Product Improvement: Work alongside digital product owners to identify new opportunities to improve digital performance from a commercial and customer standpoint.
  • Business Cases: Build new business cases to support business growth, including small and large change initiatives.
What do I need?
  • Strategy & Performance Management: Proven experience in strategy and performance management, including opportunity identification, delivery, and results measurement.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with experience in analytics packages, ideally Google Analytics.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with good design aesthetics.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with colleagues and keep internal teams updated on progress.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to frequent change and managing a range of stakeholders from different areas.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), with desirable experience in Agile Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and working with compliance and legal teams.
