We are now looking for a Digital Content & Product Manager to help shape the online shopping experience for Ted Baker and drive commercial success through content, UX, and merchandising strategies.
THE ROLE
As Digital Content & Product Manager, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class content and merchandising strategies to optimize the online customer experience. You will ensure a seamless shopping journey across multiple languages and markets, balancing brand storytelling with commercial goals to drive engagement, conversion, and sales.
Sitting at the intersection of content management, product merchandising, UX optimization, and site performance, this role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including trading, digital marketing, CRM, UX/CRO, creative, SEO, and ecommerce development.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Content Management & Onsite Experience- Manage all site content, ensuring campaigns, promotions, and product updates are executed flawlessly.
- Plan and optimize customer journeys to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
- Partner with UX and CRO teams to improve user experiences through A/B testing and data insights.
- Work with creative teams on compelling and high-performing digital content.
- Oversee frontend enhancements and CMS improvements, ensuring updates align with business priorities.
- Oversee product publication, categorization, and merchandising to ensure an intuitive site experience.
- Implement merchandising strategies, including product recommendations, visual merchandising, and personalization.
- Work closely with the buying and merchandising teams to ensure product data is accurate and optimized for search.
- Define and manage seasonal and curated category strategies to balance commercial and brand objectives.
- Ensure SEO best practices are applied to improve organic search visibility.
- Report on key ecommerce performance metrics, including category engagement, onsite search performance, and promotional impact.
- Analyze customer behavior, product performance, and content interactions to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with trading teams to align content and merchandising strategies with revenue goals.
- Plan and manage onsite promotions, content updates, and category adjustments for peak trading periods, sales events, and brand campaigns.
- Oversee promotional codes and pre-launch testing to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Lead and develop a high-performing digital content and merchandising team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and career development opportunities, empowering team members to take ownership of their markets and content strategies.
We are looking for someone with a strong e-commerce background in content management and product merchandising, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail. You should be both analytical and creative, with the ability to balance data-driven decision-making with compelling brand storytelling.
Skills & Experience- Experience in ecommerce content management and product merchandising for a retail brand.
- Strong understanding of Shopify Markets and CMS capabilities, with experience managing third-party apps.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools for performance tracking.
- Experience optimizing digital customer journeys through collaboration with SEO, UX, and CRO teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across creative, technical, and commercial teams.
- High level of proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience managing multilingual sites and understanding localization and translation processes.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for troubleshooting CMS issues.
- Familiarity with AI-driven merchandising, personalization strategies, and omnichannel commerce.
- Experience leading a team across multiple time zones and markets.
