Purpose of Role

We are looking for an experienced PPC Consultant, someone who can deliver PPC campaigns that exceed expectations and KPIs. This role will predominantly involve managing Paid Search, using channels such as Google AdWords. Managing a portfolio of clients, you will understand how to structure campaigns, optimise to generate great results and keep ahead of new techniques. This role will sit within Experience Optimisation (XO) Division, working alongside another PPC consultant, supporting our Digital Marketing Lead and Digital Marketing Account Managers with ongoing positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  1. Carrying out PPC audits on Google AdWords and Bing Accounts, identifying issues and recommending improvements to structure, targeting, keywords and performance.
  2. Setting up new Google AdWords, Bing Ads and Social Ad Accounts (such as Facebook) for clients, following best practice on structure and performance.
  3. Review current PPC performance and identify issues or areas that require improvements to form part of the PPC strategy and work plan.
  4. Carrying out keyword research and wider trend research.
  5. Creating engaging and relevant advert content based on keyword research and brand guidelines.
  6. Managing clients' PPC budgets to ensure they spend correctly.
  7. Managing both UK and International PPC accounts across a range of verticals.
  8. Working alongside another PPC consultant, collaborating, sharing new ideas and finding opportunities for our clients.
  9. Attending calls where required with clients alongside our client services team to share PPC insights and performance data.
  10. Attending conferences, webinars and events then knowledge sharing of new findings within team and wider agency.

Experience

Ideally candidates will have experience of:

  1. Completing PPC audits and making recommendations (reviewing the structure and performance of an account).
  2. Setting up Google AdWords, Bing and Social PPC Accounts based on best practice.
  3. Managing Google AdWords accounts performance, across all campaign types - search, display, remarketing, YouTube, Shopping and Sponsored Gmail campaigns.
  4. Managing Bing Ad accounts performance across all campaign types.
  5. Managing Social Ad accounts performance across all campaign types.
  6. Understanding of CRO and making recommendations on content/landing pages to improve performance.
  7. Running A/B or Multivariate testing on PPC campaigns.
  8. Managing International PPC campaigns.
Technical Skills
  1. Google AdWords (search, shopping, display & remarketing).
  2. Bing Ads.
  3. Google Analytics.
  4. Facebook Ads (Desirable).
Qualifications / Training
  1. 3+ years' experience in Google AdWords/Bing Ads.
  2. Google AdWords Certifications.
  3. Google Analytics Certification.
  4. Experience in Social Advertising (Desirable).
