We will offer you a place where you can be yourself and where there are no limits on what you can achieve. With us, you can take ownership of your career and have honest conversations throughout. You would join an ambitious firm with a clear strategy for profitable growth where you can get early responsibility and early involvement in growing the business. Here you can expect a competitive and fair reward as well as recognition based on all round performance. This forms part of our internal promise to you, The Deal, between the firm and its employees.

You can expect:

  • A competitive salary and a host of family friendly policies
  • Life assurance, private health and dental care for you and your family
  • A range of flexible benefits including gym discount and retail vouchers
  • Tech, cycle and electric car schemes
  • The opportunity to support the firm's charity through volunteering leave
  • A wellbeing strategy that focuses on preventative measures to maintain overall health, and tools and support for when our people experience physical or mental difficulties. The strategy focuses on four pillars: physical, emotional, financial and social aspects.
Team Structure

Please note that this is initially a 9-month FTC role.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing & Performance Manager, we are seeking a proactive and experienced digital marketeer to play an integral role in shaping the next chapter of our journey. The role is an exciting opportunity to join the team as we drive forward in our strategic, data-led approach to marketing and business development.

The Digital Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in the successfully delivery and promotion of Stephenson Harwood's new website. Working closely with our wider content teams to ensure all content is fully SEO optimised, using an integrated multi-channel marketing approach to drive brand performance, engagement, and client acquisition.

The successful candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, demonstrable experience in organic and paid search optimisation (SEO and PPC), website management (Umbraco) and email marketing.

This role is based in London as part of a team which includes two other digital marketing team members. Other key stakeholders include Head of Business Development, Head of Brand & Communications, the wider global BD team, as well as Partners and Associates within the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Digital Marketing & Performance Manager in the creation and execution of our SEO strategy to drive traffic, enquiries and new client acquisition.
  • Work closely with the wider BD teams to ensure ongoing content changes to the website are delivered and optimised correctly.
  • Keen eye for understanding competitor's performance and how to benchmark against them to improve our own performance.
  • Understanding and implementing technical SEO audits proposed changes.
  • Help deliver data analysis to provide insights that drive actionable outcomes.
  • Keep up to date with Google's algorithm changes to report and guide best practice within the firm.

Additional responsibilities will include supporting the team with the execution of email marketing when required, and the implementation of paid search marketing campaigns towards the launch of the new website.

Most of our roles are hybrid, meaning that colleagues benefit from working in our office and remotely. We are happy to discuss this and other flexible working arrangements with you as part of the application and interview process.

Attributes/Skills Required
  • At least 3+ years digital marketing experience in a professional environment (agency or in-house).
  • Strong understanding of paid and organic search best practices.
  • Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightEdge) and Google products (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Ads).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders of all seniority levels.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

This job description is indicative only and does not represent an exhaustive list of responsibilities. The firm reserves the right to alter or change the responsibilities at any time, in line with the firm's strategy and business needs.
