WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, in the office.
About This Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Higher Education Banking team as a director covering Birmingham and Leeds. In this dedicated higher education role, you'll build and maintain banking relationships with large and mid-sized universities across the sector, bringing the best of LBG to our clients from a financing, convening and thought leadership perspective.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Lead a portfolio of large and mid-sized university relationships within the Higher Education Sector.
- Maintain and build client relationships to drive business with new and existing clients.
- Identify client needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Develop innovative solutions by integrating and analysing complex and diverse information sources.
- Review, evaluate and handle risk, to ensure adherence to the LBG risk framework and wider industry regulations.
What We Need From You:
- Previous commercial banking experience with a proven track record managing relationships.
- Experience of structuring large debt facilities and capital markets experience.
- Specialist credit and sector knowledge with a passion for delivering excellent client experiences whilst identifying ways to grow income, balance sheet and market share.
- Excellent communication and customer management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different teams and hierarchies.
- Strong risk management and analytical skills are crucial.
And Any Experience of These Would Be Really Useful:
- Knowledge of the Higher Education sector would be highly beneficial.
