Your tasks Responsibilities
- Reporting to the CFO, you will lead and manage a team of Controlling and Accounting professionals, while coordinating with external accounting and tax consultants across Germany, the UK, and Sweden.
- You ensure accurate and timely standalone and consolidated financial reporting, including financial statements, budget vs. actual analysis, and group consolidation.
- You set up and maintain strong internal controls while driving initiatives to streamline and standardize accounting and controlling processes.
- You will serve as the primary contact and lead the end-to-end financial audit process for all relevant entities and at the consolidated level.
- You leverage your accounting and controlling expertise to implement and optimize a new group ERP system.
- You collaborate closely with the FP&A team to provide accurate financial insights, align forecasting and budgeting processes, and ensure robust reporting structures.
- You establish and implement procurement processes to ensure efficient purchasing and effective vendor management.
- You manage and improve the company's Net Working Capital.

Profile
- 8-12 years of relevant experience (external/internal audit, controlling, accounting), with ideally a first experience as Financial Auditor in a Big 4 and another experience in a scale-up environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of Local GAAP (HGB), with a proven track record of successfully leading financial audits.
- Skilled in managing diverse teams and overseeing complex accounting functions, including consolidation and month-end controlling.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Driven by a proactive, process-improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Independent, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous.
- Fluent in both English and German.
