Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Director to join our Financial Services Compliance & Regulatory ("FSCR") practice. In this role, you will help firms deliver on a wide range of engagements, such as financial crime prevention, compliance risk management, regulatory readiness, compliance monitoring, and regulatory reporting.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Source and lead consulting projects.
  • Oversee, project-manage, and coordinate delivery for the various assignments, under strong standards of quality and responsiveness.
  • Formalize and strengthen the company's procedures to constantly improve operational effectiveness.
  • Work with the head of the UK Regulatory Consulting team to develop business thought leadership initiatives.
  • Ensure collegiality and, as a member of the wider FSCR team, look for opportunities to work together.
  • Work with the team to achieve client deliverables and objectives.
  • Be the direct point and local expert for regulatory matters with clients, service providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Support investment firms with the new Investment Firm Prudential Regime (IFPR), ensuring compliance with the new prudential regime for FCA investment firms.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in the financial industry, preferably in regulatory compliance.
  • Willingness to take on challenges, a "can-do attitude," and think outside the box.
  • Autonomous yet team-player, open attitude, excellent communication skills, eagerness to learn, curiosity.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects, and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Innovative, driven for results, and committed to delivering.
  • Experience in prudential modelling and advice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.
