Your new company
Your new company is a Construction Specialist with a history of delivering high value schemes across the Education, High Rise Residential, Commercial and Leisure sectors, both new build and refurbishment. They are looking to recruit a Document Controller for a high value scheme in Bristol.
Your new role
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the flow and storage of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain project documentation in line with company procedures.
- Ensure all documents are correctly filed and accessible to relevant team members.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to collect and review documentation.
- Track and monitor document versions and revisions.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of documents for project meetings and reviews.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Provide regular updates and reports on document status
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Document Controller role, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with document management software - ViewPoint experience is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
