Electrical Automation Technician - Ghent Region - Permanent Role

I am partnered with a company in the renewables materials manufacturing industry. They are looking for a technician experienced in automation & electrical engineering to join the team in their biomass power plant.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance work (proactive and corrective) on electrical & automated systems.
• Monitor, test, and analyse electrical and control systems to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement of operations.
• Diagnose and repair control system failures.
• Ensure all electrical systems and automation equipment follow plant safety standards.
• Assist in developing preventive maintenance schedules and strategies for electrical and control systems.
• Work closely with other maintenance teams, engineers, and plant management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A first experience as a technician in a production environment.
• Dutch fluency is required.
• Open to day shift work (07:30 to 16:00) and being on call every fourth week.
