Freelance Electrical Coordinator - Ghent - April

We're seeking an Electrical Architect to lead project solutions and on-site electrical commissioning while adhering to engineering standards. This role involves designing and modifying electrical diagrams, ensuring compliance, and collaborating across teams to tackle complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Design & Documentation: Create, update, and review schematics.
• Commissioning & Testing: Conduct on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Safety Systems: Develop both standard and custom safety designs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical, software, and automation teams, as well as suppliers and clients.
• Continuous Improvement: Enhance designs, propose optimizations, and stay current with industry trends.

Required Skills:

• AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
• Safety Design & IO Testing
• Electrical Validation
• TwinCAT, Siemens and/or Beckhoff
• Proneta Tool
• Fluent in English

Bonus: Basic knowledge of EPLAN is a plus.

Job Details:

• Start Date: Before June 1st
• Location: On-site in Ghent, with 30% travel abroad & 1 remote day per week
• Workload: Full-time (Freelance contract)
• Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in Belgium (no visa sponsorship)
