Unison Ltd, based in Scarborough, is a leading manufacturer of CNC tube bending machines and industrial engineering solutions. The company supplies high-end products to global markets, serving industries such as aerospace, automotive, and marine.

An opportunity has arisen for a Control Systems Designer to join the electrical team. This role is suited to a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills and a minimum of five years' experience in a similar field.

This is a full-time, salary-based position located at Unison's manufacturing facility in Scarborough. The role operates on a 39-hour workweek, Monday to Thursday (7:45 AM - 4:45 PM), with an early finish at 1:00 PM on Fridays.

• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and machinery directive legislation.
• Develop electrical schematics, manufacturing drawing packs, and parts lists (BOMs).
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes.
• Provide commissioning and fault-finding support to service teams.
• Offer remote technical assistance to customers.

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline or HNC equivalent.
• At least three years' experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in three-phase power circuits and 24V DC control circuits.
• Experience with machine safety systems.
• Knowledge of servo motion and PLC programming (advantageous but not essential).

• Holidays: 32 days per year (including public/bank holidays).
