Capgemini is looking for an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Specialist able to conduct EMC testing for Defense and Aerospace products and ensure products meet required EMC standards.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your roleTo conduct EMC testing for Defense and Aerospace products and ensure products meet required EMC standards.
Your skills and experience- Able to prepare EMC test setup and execute the testing and ensure test specifications are followed in the correct order.
- Closely work with clients to understand the focus of the testing and help investigate EMC test failures.
- Engage with EMC test labs on behalf of clients and ensure timely closure of test schedules.
- Formally log test setup, product condition (before, during test, and after test), and create and maintain clear test records.
- Able to review EMC test results and provide a consolidated view to clients on the findings.
- Able to coordinate and work with the testing team, helping to maintain the test facilities.
- Regularly monitor test equipment and report anomalies or faults.
- Familiarity with EMC testing equipment and standards for defense and aerospace.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently when dealing with clients.
