An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Hardware Engineer to join the Electronics Programme team who design, develop & maintain Control & Monitoring Units for Rolls-Royce applications, ultimately helping to create new product lines. You'll support the design, development, testing, verification, qualification and support for electronic control and monitoring units. Participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the activities considered during the life cycle of an electrical product are carried out in a consistent and appropriate manner.

What you will be doing
- Deliver electronic design work packages in support of a control and instrumentation electronic unit.
- Elicit and capture the high level customer requirements for an electronic unit, being able to work in parallel and with some degree of uncertainty.
- Ensure methods employed in the product design and developments are technically sound and appropriate for the project being undertaken and to company processes.
- Work packages include detailed specification, concept design, detailed design and definition, integration of the system and unit verification and qualification, ensuring that detailed requirements are achieved and critical safety hazards identified are mitigated.
Skills/Experience
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Electronics Engineering role.
- Electronics speciality could include Power Supply Design, Analogue Design, Digital Design or EMC.
- Experience preferable in an aerospace or safety critical environment.
