The first line Risk & Controls function at Deutsche Bank sits within the Group Technology Infrastructure (GTI) for Deutsche Bank Group. GTI has the largest footprint within the Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) division and is joined by other business-aligned Chief Information Office (CIO) IT divisions. The Risk & Controls is a dynamic team, consistently in demand, for providing guidance as well as challenging the status quo to deliver change and maintain our approaches and systems in a secure and resilient manner.
For this role, Group Architecture is partnering with GTI across TDI. While you will work in the GTI team, you will cover to Group Architecture content, and hence contribute every day towards Group Architecture's findings portfolio remediation as well as activities that further improve operational resilience and risk reduction.
In this Embedded Risk Team member role, you will drive risk reduction contribution in line with Group Architecture and TDI objectives through proactive risk management approaches, guidance, partnership and remediation.

Your key responsibilities
- Manage and drive findings remediation along core datapoints and TDI's risk process landscape in close collaboration with the GTI teams as a member of the Embedded Risk Team
- Providing technology risk expertise related to Deutsche Banks's technology landscape, and reflecting on strategic changes within the GTI Organization
- Support risk landscape and cultural shift within GTI to identify and implement simplification & enhancement opportunities to protect Deutsche Bank from potential risk exposure
- Ensuring seamless execution of Book of Work and adherence to Risk and Governance Methodology to help deliver globally agreed objectives, including responsibility for the governance and closure of audit findings as well as Self-Identified Issues (SII) within the direct remit of GTI
- Building, growing and driving productive networks to leverage and promote best solutions, and re-use, expand and enhance, liaising to support and unblock through respectful and effective escalation practices
- Ability to challenge standing practices & rulesets for adequacy and support continuous improvement
Your skills and experience
- Experience in roles with similar complexity including within a Technology company, Banking Technology division or IT audit with experience in Risk and Control with a proven track record in a global organization
- Deep understanding of industry wide risk landscape and regulatory expectations as wells as excellent understanding of Industry best practices such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL and ISO 27001
- Knowledge of project management, organizational change management or quality management with proven track record in influencing change
- Growth mindset and proven track record to operate effectively with range of stakeholders
- Ability to provide thought leadership and take people with you in a cross-cultural and diverse operating environment
- Desire to continuous upskilling, result orientation and ability to deliver under tight timelines
