Salary: £48,900

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for employee relations and a track record of handling complex cases? We're looking for a dynamic Employee Relations Team Manager to lead a team of People Consultants, providing critical support in the resolution of complex employee relations issues and redeployment cases.
What You'll Do:
- In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team that offers expert advice and guidance on a variety of employee relations matters, including:
- Disciplinary, Capability, Grievance, and Absence cases
- Supporting employees in our Career Transition Programme (CTP) and helping them find new opportunities within the organization
- Advising on processes, drafting documentation, and assessing legal risks
- Collaborating with trade unions and external partners
- Leading the team's day-to-day activities, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality support
- Managing more complex and sensitive cases, acting as an escalation point for your team
What You'll Need:
- A solid understanding of employment law, with experience managing complex employee relations cases (up to and including tribunal)
- Practical experience attending meetings and handling sensitive cases
- Ideally, experience working with trade unions
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
- The ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and external advisors
- A thorough understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR)
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and empowering others to resolve issues before they escalate
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire your team
