About the Role :

We are seeking highly motivated Electromechanical Engineers to join our team of talented consultants. As an ALTEN consultant, you will contribute to the full project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning, on cutting-edge energy infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and engineering of high-voltage substations, encompassing :

High-voltage components

Protection systems, automation, and telecommunications

High-voltage lines and pylons

• Develop preliminary designs, scope projects, and establish budgets and schedules.
• Effectively coordinate and supervise design teams and external partners.
• Oversee project execution in the field, collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your Profile :

Education & Technical Skills :

• Master's degree in Electrical, Energy, or Electromechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Strong interest in the energy sector and electrical infrastructure.
• Prior experience in project management or engineering is a plus (recent graduates are welcome).
• Solid understanding of high-voltage standards and technical specifications (substations, lines).

Soft Skills :

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive, structured approach with a strong learning agility.

Languages :

• Fluency in French OR Dutch is required (and English).

Working Conditions :

• Location: Mainly at the Brussels headquarters, with regular travel to project sites across Belgium.
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week).
