Engineering Lead (Fintech & Payments)

We're looking for an Engineering Lead who will actively guide the team and contribute to the codebase. You'll help shape the technical direction, build products, and work on cutting-edge blockchain and cryptocurrency solutions.

Location: London, England - Remote

• Hands-on development: Collaborate with the team to design, build, and deploy robust APIs with frontends for iOS, Android, and web.
• Team leadership: Lead by example, mentor developers, and facilitate growth within the team.
• Translate requirements: Work with stakeholders to turn business needs into technical solutions.
• Fintech product expertise: Draw on experience building payment software to ensure robust, legally compliant, and secure solutions.
• Blockchain & cryptocurrencies: Apply in-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and digital assets in product development.
• DevOps knowledge: Contribute to continuous integration, deployment, and cloud infrastructure.

• Proven track record: Successful delivery of financial or fintech products.
• Frontend development: Strong skills in React, Vue, Expo, and other front-end frameworks for iOS, Android, and web development.
• Backend fundamentals: A solid understanding of server-side development, such as serverless architecture, API development, deployment, and integration.
• Blockchain & crypto: Direct experience working on blockchain/cryptocurrency projects.
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• DevOps experience using best practices
• Experience managing a team of frontend developers, backend developers, DevOps, and UX designers.
• Communication: Clear, concise, and effective with technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge or interest in DLT, such as Hedera and the XRP Ledger
• Cybersecurity experience, knowledge and/or awareness
