Environmental Sustainability Advisor

We are looking for a Environmental Sustainability Advisor to join our Infrastructure team in Nottinghamshire.

What you'll do:

1. Drive innovation and continuous improvement throughout the project team.
2. Undertake environmental audits and inspections, both internal and external, including suppliers and waste contractors.
3. Deliver suitable environmental and sustainability training for all project staff.
4. Identify and communicate environmental and sustainability risks and mitigations, assisting with the review and undertaking writing of plans, risk assessments and method statements.
5. Drive awareness for and delivery against contract targets, particularly reducing Carbon, materials efficiency and striving to achieve no-net loss in biodiversity.

What you'll bring to the role:

1. Degree level in appropriate Environmental or relevant discipline (ideal).
2. At least 3 years' construction industry experience or relevant environmental experience in a similar sector.
3. Minimum Practitioner Membership with IEMA or similar professional membership, or working towards.
4. Full driving licence and willingness to travel across projects/ contracts in region.
