ERP Program Manager

The Company

For one of our clients, a global technology company specializing in software and services for the energy and water industry, we are seeking an ERP Program Manager. Headquartered in Belgium, the company develops an advanced Customer Information System and ERP solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, serving both international and regional clients. With a strong presence across Europe and the United States, the company is well-positioned for its next phase of growth.

The Role

The ERP Program Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale ERP implementation in the UK, overseeing a team of Project Managers and a broader team of up to 120-150 FTEs. This person will ensure the successful execution of the program. The role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader with deep technical expertise in complex ERP implementations. This position can be freelance or permanent and requires three days per week on-site in the UK. Candidates from Belgium or elsewhere in Europe who are open to commuting or relocating will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Full A-Z responsibility for the successful delivery of a large-scale ERP implementation.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring smooth execution, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.
• Act as the key point of contact for the client, maintaining a strong client relationship.
• Ensure technical and functional alignment of the ERP solution, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Drive operational excellence by optimizing workflows, managing risks, and addressing bugs and integration challenges.
• Provide strategic direction while maintaining a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Profile

• Extensive experience in ERP program management, with a focus on large-scale implementation and integration (not just transformation/change programs).
• Strong technical expertise in ERP solutions, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience leading teams of 100+ FTEs, including direct management of project managers.
• Industry background in utilities is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Hands-on leadership style with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to commit to a long-term engagement (minimum two years).
• Ability to work onsite (UK) three days per week, with flexibility for commuting from Belgium or other European locations.
