EU Public Affairs Consultant

Our Public Affairs consultancy, based in Brussels is seeking a motivated EU Public Affairs Consultant to strengthen our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing key client accounts, designing, and implementing Public Affairs strategies, as well as engaging with stakeholders at all levels with a strong focus, but not limited to, the health policy sector.

What will be your main responsibilities?

• Be on top of policy issues in fast moving sectors
• Identify policy opportunities and challenges for our clients
• Provide strategic advice and political insights, and identify existing and future trends
• Consolidate a strong network of key decision-makers and stakeholders
• Build consensus to deliver precise and sustainable policy solutions

What are we looking for?

• Excellent command of English and French
• 2 to 4 years of experience in EU Public Affairs or within EU institutions, preferably in the health sector
• A university-level degree in law or political sciences
• Solid knowledge of the EU, its institutions, and the policy-making processes
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse technical papers and legislative acts
• Good presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated assertiveness, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit
