Business / Team Overview:
The Event Marketing Cluster Manager will be responsible for managing a team of event marketing professionals that specialize in executing events and roadshows across UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. The role requires experience working with multi-discipline, cross cultural teams and senior stakeholders across geographies and time-zones to deliver high-quality events.

The Event Marketing Cluster Manager will be responsible for managing a team of event marketing professionals that specialize in executing events and roadshows across UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. The role requires experience working with multi-discipline, cross cultural teams and senior stakeholders across geographies and time-zones to deliver high-quality events.
Some of the key responsibilities in the role:
- Develop and implement strategic client-centric event marketing plans tailored to the needs of business partners and balanced with a focus on expense management.
- Personally lead and execute important events involving senior clients and stakeholders.
- Serve as a strategic event partner working closely with business and business-aligned marketing teams.
- Manage and mentor a team of event marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback and support to ensure their success and professional growth. Conduct performance evaluations, set goals and ensure training and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the firm, clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
- Financial accountability including managing strategic event forecasting, department budget, reviewing projects and ensuring expense management.
- Identify and remediate impact due to change in strategy or environment and demonstrate positive navigation through timely adjustments.

What knowledge, skills and experience we'll need from you:
- Collaborative 'team player' orientation committed to the team's success and an ability to work across diverse countries and cultures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - verbal and written. Must have proficiency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of an additional language would be an advantage.
- Strong C-Suite client relationship management skills with proven success in being customer-focused; ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and to develop constructive relationships with more senior colleagues.
- Proven project management capabilities and expertise - able to prioritize and work under pressure by handling multiple high visibility projects simultaneously and with a proven track-record.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of latest event trends, industry innovations and technologies.
- Flexibility in work hours - must be able to work non-traditional hours and weekends and have a flexible travel schedule when required. Must be willing to travel 35-40% of time.
