Job Description

Events - Event Coodination - Channel Manager - Business Administration - Event Management

Events Coordinator required by large Investment Bank, London based (Hybrid home/office working) to primarily focus on planning and executing successful events across EMEA while also providing administrative support to the Channel Manager. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for event management and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute company events such as conferences, trade shows, product launches, webinars, and internal meetings.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, travel arrangements, and accommodation.
  • Manage invitation, attendee registrations, event follow up comms and post event deliverables.
  • Develop event schedules, manage timelines, and ensure all event deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate marketing collateral, promotional materials, and attendee communication for events.
  • Oversee event - in person or virtually - ensuring smooth running of all aspects, and highly coordinated.

You will have recent experience as a Events Coordinator coupled with experience of:

  • Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in event planning/coordination (minimum 2 years).

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with marketto and event management platforms is a plus.

  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple events and administrative tasks simultaneously.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all events run smoothly and administrative tasks are handled accurately.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and channel partners.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions.

  • Time Management: Efficiently handle competing deadlines for both events and administrative responsibilities.
