Facade Consultant

With a workforce exceeding 130,000 employees across more than 100 countries, they offer a comprehensive range of services, including facilities, transaction and project management; property management; investment management; appraisal and valuation; property leasing; strategic consulting; property sales; mortgage services; and development services. They are seeking a skilled Façade Consultant to join their Glasgow office, contributing to innovative projects within the UK.

1. Conduct façade structural and thermal calculations.
2. Prepare detailed reports and specifications.
3. Contribute to the development of tender packages.
4. Provide expert advice on materials and systems used in façade construction.
5. Develop specifications and performance criteria for façade systems.
6. Conduct surveys and report on defects.

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Proven experience in an engineering role within the façades sector.
3. Proficiency in report and specification writing.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, clients, contractors, and project managers.
5. Ability to commute to Glasgow or Edinburgh.
