An exciting and forward-thinking organisation is seeking an Interim Facilities HS&E Manager for a 12-week contract based in Nottinghamshire. This role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee and manage the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) protection of the organisation's stakeholders, ensuring legal compliance and achieving external accreditations. You will report directly to the Head of Facilities Management.This organisation is dedicated to helping fleet operators reduce costs and environmental impact while enhancing safety, efficiency, and compliance. They provide telematics, real-time journey management, and proof of delivery solutions to streamline processes, maximise utilisation, and strengthen customer engagement. With over thirty years of experience and a global presence, they are committed to supporting businesses in running more sustainably and cost-effectively. They also host the largest annual transport conference in Europe.Your new role
- Oversee and manage all tasks related to the facility, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Achieve and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 accreditations.
- Ensure legal compliance in all HS&E activities.
- Create and communicate HS&E policies and procedures to reduce risk and support a positive HS&E culture across the business.
- Manage and develop Group Health and Safety and Environmental Management.
- Monitor HS&E performance through information analysis and audit programmes to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with the facilities management team to ensure safe working practices, controls, and processes for all stakeholders, including employees, customers, contractors, visitors, and others.
- Assess and manage HS&E risks to prevent issues from arising.
- Investigate all incidents and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
- Provide regular reports to the Head of Facilities Management on HS&E performance and improvements.
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Working knowledge of ISO standards.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Risk Assessment and RAMS experience.
- COSHH knowledge.
- Experience in a similar role.
