An exciting opportunity has arisen: We are currently recruiting for a part-time (18.5 hours per week) Family Support Worker to join our safeguarding team at Bolton Council.

In this role, you will work alongside Safeguarding Social Workers to deliver high-quality interventions with children and families, supporting positive outcomes. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Supporting family time activities
2. Assisting with home visits
3. Engaging in direct work with children
4. Supporting families with behaviour management, routines, and boundaries
5. Assisting with budgeting and referring families to support services

This work involves working with families involved in Child in Need, Child Protection, and court proceedings. The role requires being office-based part of the week and being able to travel to Bolton at short notice to meet service needs.

Pay Options:

• PAYE - £15.24
• Umbrella - £19.03
