Farm Business Consultant

Ready to step up into a new Farm Consultancy position?

I'm currently looking for an excellent farm business consultant for a well-established regional firm in the North of England.

Due to a period of sustained growth, our client is looking to expand their team in Alnwick. You'll build strong relationships with existing clients and develop new work for yourself and your team.

The ideal candidate will have a few years' experience of consultancy under their belt and be competent in carrying out consultancy to farmers and landowners. Your role will be varied with responsibilities including:

1. Undertake Farm Business appraisals.
2. Prepare reports and budgets, including to support tenders for Farm Business Tenancies (FBTs), Contract Farming Agreements (CFAs), and Share Farming Agreements (SFAs).
3. Draw up agreement documents for CFAs and SFAs as well as oversee and manage the ongoing farm strategy and operations.
4. Help deliver Practical Farm Management instructions to existing clients.
5. Provide technical advice on a one-to-one basis where qualified to do so.
6. Undertake an array of grant aid applications available to farmers.
7. Design options and undertake applications to Stewardship schemes, oversee their implementation, management, and compliance needs.
