Finance Assistant
Part-Time 20-25hrs
Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Elevation Accountancy & Finance Recruitment are delighted to be working with a business in the Rotherham area as they look to recruit a Finance Assistant into their team on a part time, permanent basis.

20-25 hours per week to be worked across 3 full days or 5 short days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update banking records on a daily basis
  • Prepare daily cash flow and financial reports
  • Process and calculate bank payments, ensuring remittance emails are issued promptly
  • Perform administrative tasks to support financial operations
  • Manage daily cash activities
  • Process cheque payments, BACS transactions, and record these in finance systems
  • Handle payments and petty cash transactions
  • Update financial records with purchase ledger direct debits
  • Assist with general office tasks to support the finance team


Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Familiarity with Excel and prior experience with financial systems
  • Experience in data processing, including invoices or bank transactions
  • Previous work in a finance-related role and experience in preparing reports
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently
