Finance Director

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join our luxury aesthetics business based in Hampshire to assure the company's continued stable and profitable growth, with overarching responsibility for our financial health, IT, HR & Governance as we enter into a period of largely organically funded growth.

Leading cashflow and currency management, infrastructure development and trade/invoice finance facilities, this role will also be responsible for developing and driving company policies and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency and support our goal of sustainable excellence whilst building foundations for our global vision.

This is a permanent position working 5 days per week. 3 days working from home / 2 days working in Head Office. Your commuting distance from home to the Head Office should be no more than 1 hour.

MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES FINANCE

1. Manage the finance team
2. Ensure good financial controls are maintained throughout the business
3. Strategic planning & budget creation/rephasing
4. Lead financial preparation for monthly, quarterly & annual management meetings
5. Lead FY end planning, processes and due diligence
6. Manage the statutory accounts and regulatory reporting
7. Oversee employee payroll and statutory compliance

GOVERNANCE & BUSINESS PROCESS GOVERNANCE & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

1. Work closely with HR, legal, and finance departments to ensure company-wide understanding and adherence to regulatory obligations.
2. Administrate legal matters with our appointed legal team to minimize risk & improve processes to mitigate future risks.

STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOP's)

1. Develop, implement, and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with UK laws and internal policies.

GDPR COMPLIANCE

1. Oversee and manage the company's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance strategy.
2. Lead the company's efforts to achieve ISO accreditation (e.g., ISO 9001 for Quality Management etc).

B-CORP CERTIFICATION ROADMAP

1. Develop a strategic roadmap for the company's journey towards achieving B-Corp certification.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & RISK MANAGEMENT

1. Develop and manage a business process improvement framework that includes regular audits, performance monitoring, and risk assessments.
2. Update the company risk register, and report to the SLT.

CONTRACTS MANAGEMENT

1. Ensure all contracts are financially robust, legally compliant, due diligence applied and in line with corporate standards and needs.

EXPERIENCE & KEY SUCCESS CRITERIA ESSENTIAL

1. Previous ownership of IT, HR or Governance
2. Robust professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
3. Experience such as Head of Finance /Finance Director
4. Expert user of XERO and NETSUITE
5. Confident & experienced in ERP/system transition implementation
6. Solid IF/TF experience
7. Cashflow management
8. Experience within fast-paced environments & entrepreneurial led organisations

PREFERABLE/ADVANTAGEOUS

1. Strong working knowledge of UK legal requirements in data protection (GDPR) & Corporate Governance & Legal regulatory compliance.
2. HR Policy Management: Experience working with HR teams to ensure policies comply with UK employment law and industry best practices.
3. Professional certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.
4. Experience with ISO certification processes and B-Corp certification frameworks.
