Job Overview
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing Kixy's financial health, ensuring regulatory compliance with EMI standards, and supporting fundraising and licensing efforts. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to develop financial strategies that drive Kixy's rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute Kixy's financial strategy to support business growth, fundraising, and global expansion.
• Prepare and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow analyses.
• Support fundraising initiatives by preparing financial models, investor presentations, and due diligence documentation.

2. Financial Operations & Treasury Management

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reconciliation.
• Ensure proper cash flow management, liquidity planning, and treasury functions to optimise financial efficiency.
• Work with banking and payment partners to manage financial transactions and settlements.

3. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure full compliance with FCA (UK) regulatory requirements.
• Play a key role in Kixy'sEMI license application, preparing financial statements and capital adequacy reports.
• Work closely with the MLRO and Compliance teams on fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, and regulatory filings.
• Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls to reduce financial risks.

4. Reporting & Investor Relations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to manage investor relations and provide financial transparency.
• Prepare financial presentations for board meetings, investor updates, and fundraising pitches.

5. Cost Management & Efficiency

• Identify opportunities to optimise costs and streamline financial processes.
• Conduct regular financial performance reviews and recommend corrective actions.

6. Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage relationships with banks, payment processors, and financial service providers.
• Negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective financial solutions.

7. Technology & Innovation

• Collaborate with IT to integrate financial tools, accounting software, and automation systems.
• Support financial aspects of product launches, partnerships, and platform development.

Requirements

• Experience with E-Money Institutions (EMIs) is a must-have.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in fintech, payments, or startups.
• Strong knowledge of EMI licensing, regulatory reporting, and financial risk management.
• Experience working with venture capital firms or investors is a plus.
• Proficiency in financial tools, ERP systems, and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
