Finance Manager (Commercial/FP&A) - Hybrid Working

Our client - an exciting professional services business based in Cheshire - is seeking an experienced Finance Manager who can support the Group FD in changing the landscape of the finance function to introduce a culture of business partnering and further develop FP&A reporting throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Finance Director in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
2. Deputise for the Finance Director when required.
3. Develop and oversee financial systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
4. Manage and update the management accounts reporting model.
5. Support the Management Accountant in producing monthly management accounts with clear analysis and narrative.
6. Oversee risk management, compliance, and regulatory reporting, including VAT returns and payroll reviews.
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
8. Manage the annual audit process, liaising with stakeholders for a smooth execution.
