Job Description

Join us as a Finance Quality Assurance Project Officer on a fixed term basis (6 months). Our Finance Quality Assurance Project Officers will play a pivotal role in supporting the university's finance department by ensuring accurate and timely processing of aged debtor balances.

This is a great opportunity to enter a well-established and respected Finance department. As Finance Quality Assurance Project Officers, you will be overseeing fee posting processes, assisting with audits, and maintaining the highest quality standards across all financial transactions. You will be working collaboratively with internal teams to identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with university financial policies and external regulations.

You will have a proven ability to analyse financial data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions, as well as a customer-focused approach to handling enquiries and resolving concerns.

Please note: this position is a hybrid role; you will be working in Woking for two days per week.

As our Finance Quality Assurance Project Officer you will:

  • Work with the finance team to reconcile and clear outstanding balances, following up with relevant departments or students as necessary.
  • Assist with internal financial audits and reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), to ensure consistency in financial processes.
