Do you have a passion for financial operations and accuracy in reporting? Are you detail-oriented with a knack for managing reconciliations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards? We are seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join our growing Finance team.

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in the financial reporting process, ensuring that transactions are recorded accurately and all reporting requirements are met. • Tax Compliance: Assist with tax computations, including VAT filings, corporate tax provisions, and annual tax reporting, while keeping up-to-date with relevant tax regulations.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare and substantiate monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Statutory Reporting: Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts for the group and its subsidiaries under IFRS or UK GAAP, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
  • Audit Support: Work closely with external auditors during audits, addressing queries, and ensuring timely resolution of audit issues.
  • Process Improvement: Improving reporting processes and controls aligns with the manager's focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in financial reporting.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and support other ad hoc financial tasks as required.

We're Looking For

  • Qualifications:
    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA-qualified (or equivalent) accountant.
    • Strong understanding of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
  • Experience:
