As Financial Controller, you will oversee financial planning, reporting, and cash management while ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards. You will lead and develop the finance team, optimise financial operations, and enhance transparency through accurate reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Accounting & Reporting
• Treasury & Cash Management
• Team Leadership & Management
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Revenue recognition specific to subscription models
• Collaborating with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product development.
• Managing and understanding SaaS metrics such as churn, LTV, CAC, MRR, and ARR.
• Setting and managing objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the finance team.
• Collaborating closely with the CFO on ad hoc projects, tasks and strategic financial initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience

• At least 4-6 years of experience in finance roles
• Experience in a leadership position (managing a team)
• Deep understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
• Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Financial reporting and analysis

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Ideally, 2+ years of experience working in a SaaS company
• SaaS-specific finance knowledge (revenue recognition, recurring revenue, churn, LTV, CAC, etc.)
• Xero experience
• Cash flow management
• Experience working in a high-growth or scaling SaaS environment
• Proficiency in Excel, Xero
• Knowledge of HubSpot will be an added advantage
