Your role in the team
Allstate has diversified into Finance and Accountancy with a selection of exciting roles, and we are seeking the best people with the freshest ideas to join our team. We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support our growing financial footprint.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely closing of the general ledger and assist in the financial reporting efforts of the accounting team. In addition, the Accounting Consultant will ensure financial accounts are reconciled and issues resolved timely enabling accurate financial reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare quarterly reporting deliverables, adhering to strict deadlines and maintaining a robust control structure.
Evaluate reported results and storyline variances to actual and plan periods, including investigation of fluctuations in trends.
Innovate and collaborate with wider team, US and NI based.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to implement solutions.
Solve complex problems through innovative thinking and independent decision making.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Finance/Accountancy role.
Previous experience in an analytical role.
A minimum of 1 years' experience with Data Visualization tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau.
A minimum of 1 years' experience with SQL.
A minimum of 2 years' experience with MS Office Suite with strong Excel formula experience (pivot tables, v-lookups etc.).

Good knowledge of control environments and SOX.
Working knowledge of SAP.
This job does not have supervisory duties.
