Location: Moorgate area, London

Working Model: Hybrid working

Salary: £70-80k + attractive benefits package

Job Description

Key Tasks for this Financial Reporting & Control Manager role in the Financial Services sector in London:

1. Assisting the monthly reporting process
2. Supporting the timely production of the annual report
3. Management of statutory reporting obligations including year-end financial statements and tax
4. Maintain tight financial control in line with the approved financial control framework
5. Work with both internal and external audit to improve the level of control for any identified weaknesses
6. Day-to-day liaison with external audit team to ensure clean audit requests and actions are resolved in a timely manner
7. Manage the process of monthly balance sheet review
8. Supporting the Head of Financial Control and the Head of Management Reporting with Tax and Payroll responsibilities
9. Identify and implement efficiencies in the reconciliation processes
10. Identify and manage risks thoroughly and within risk appetite

The Successful Applicant

The Ideal candidate for this Financial Reporting & Control Manager role in the Financial Services sector in London:

1. Experience in a similar role within a banking organisation
2. ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
3. Experience of working to support internal and external audit requirements
4. Well versed in the production of consolidated statutory accounting schedules
5. Knowledge of financial controls, IFRS and financial instruments
