Financial Risk expert (actuary)

About the Company - The Risk Management division mission is to identify and assess the potential risks that could impact the company and to develop strategies to control and monitor those risks. We are looking for a financial risk expert, able to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to ensure the company's long-term stability and profitability.

About the Role - As Financial Risk Expert, you are responsible for e.g.:

• Keeping a wide transversal vision of the Risk Management Function, focused on qualitative and quantitative aspects;
• Validating the Solvency Capital Requirement for Interest Rates Risk, and performing/documenting necessary controls;
• Monitoring the insurance activities, participating in decision-making and monitoring bodies, when required, related to the Life business as well as to the investment strategy;
• Defining, measuring and monitoring key risk indicators, guaranteeing their use in the day-to-day decision-making of the business lines;
• Participating in the implementation and issuing risk opinions on new tariffs, products or investment strategies and quantifying their relative impacts on the Risk Profile;
• Playing a key role of support to the Risk Management department and the operational lines regarding all aspects of the Risk Management frameworks (risk policies, guidelines, cascading down the risk appetite limits) and related to regulatory environment (Solvency II);
• Carrying out follow-up and control activities, especially for risk appetite limits, the application of risk policies and guidelines;
• Contributing to the ORSA process.

Qualifications - You are holder of a Master in Actuarial science or equivalent qualification. You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial risk management in an insurance company. You have a solid understanding of financial/ALM/hedging risks management and Solvency II framework (interest rates risk, market risk, Life risk). You are a French or Dutch speaker with a strong command of English.
