We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Financial Services Tax Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will be responsible for advising clients from the financial sector (banks and finance and insurance companies), with a special focus on withholding tax and stamp duty issues.

1. Preparation of expert opinions and preparation of tax rulings
2. Tax analysis and qualification of financial products and derivative financial instruments
3. Represent clients before the tax authorities and in court in appeal proceedings as well as drafting other legal documents
4. Take over project management and project coordination for national and international customer projects
5. Cross-departmental cooperation with specialists from other departments
6. Close cooperation and coordination with our foreign national subsidiaries
7. Communicate directly with clients and tax authorities

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree
2. Completed training as a qualified Swiss tax expert or LL.M. in International Taxation
3. At least 6-8 years of professional experience in the field of Swiss and international tax law
4. Experience in the coordination and implementation of complex projects
5. Fluent in German and English
6. Solution-oriented, flexible thinking and resilient personality
7. Flair for process thinking and strong communication skills
