Fortran Developer

Background

As part of a complete revamp of our applications, we are seeking a consultant developer/analyst to strengthen our technical team. Our team is responsible for the maintenance, evolution, and development of software solutions.

Role

• Analyze needs and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize existing industrial applications using Fortran 77, C, and C++.
• Participate in the study, reflection, and development of the future software infrastructure.
• Participate in the development of technical documentation.
• Provide technical support and resolve incidents during on-call shifts (1 week per month).
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure project success and deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

• We are seeking a professional with the following skills and experience:
• Higher education in computer science or an equivalent discipline.
• Proven experience in software development, particularly with Fortran 77, C, and C++. Experience with C# and the .NET framework is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a team.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Availability to work on-call for one week per month.
• Good communication skills and thorough documentation writing.
• Enjoy challenges and participate in large-scale projects.
