Founding AI Engineer

This company is the fastest growing startup building AI products to transform how IP professionals work. They are building an AI-powered end-to-end platform to help with every aspect of invention harvesting, patent generation, and IP portfolio management.

You'll be responsible for:

1. Developing production-ready AI algorithms. You will be leading the development of new and improved algorithms to push the envelope of what is possible with large language models.

2. Building a state-of-the-art evaluation pipeline. You will be leading the development of this pipeline and benchmarking the performance of the proprietary algorithms on large datasets.

3. LLM prompt engineering. Research and implement state-of-the-art prompting methods to maximise the efficacy of the LLM models and algorithms.

Must haves:

1. Expert in Python.

2. Industry experience of shipping algorithms and/or evaluation pipelines into production.

3. Experience with prompt engineering and large language models.

4. Familiarity with back-end development and Postgres databases.

5. Experience with front-end development (Typescript/React).

6. Extremely clear writer and communicator.

Nice to haves:

1. Publications at top machine learning conferences (e.g. NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML) or in adjacent fields.

2. Familiarity with popular LLM evaluation frameworks such as OpenAI evals.
