Reporting into the VP Finance, you will be responsible for enhancing our reporting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities. This is a new role that has arisen due to the continued growth and complexity of the business. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to provide actionable financial insights and support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
Key Responsibilities- Budgeting, Forecasting, & Financial Modelling
- Own the development and maintenance of financial models to support annual budgets and reforecasts.
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic planning and scenario analysis.
- Financial Planning: Own tracking and reporting of progress against financial goals, identifying risks, opportunities, and delivering proactive insights to senior leadership against financial goals.
- Enhancing Reporting & Commentary: Enhance the monthly and quarterly financial reporting suite, ensuring timely delivery of accurate reports accompanied by providing clear, insightful commentary, connecting financial outcomes to business drivers.
- Trend Analytics: Lead on analysis of financial trends, providing insights into historical performance, forecasting future trends, and identifying areas for improvement across revenue, costs, and operational efficiency.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA) with 4+ years post-qualification experience.
- Proven FP&A experience, ideally in a PE or VC Backed environment.
- Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to build, maintain, and optimize models.
- Proven experience working with Sales team including forecasting, analytics and data driven insights.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial systems (e.g. Tableau, NetSuite, SQL).
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and delivering insights that drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distil complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, with a proactive mindset.
- 25 days Holiday per year (increasing by 1 day per years' service, up to 30 days) + Bank Holidays
