Front End Developer - Angular, JavaScript

Assignment description

For our client we are looking for a Front End Developer.

You'll join Car & Credit Solutions where the team is responsible for the digital services offered to corporate and consumer customers, in multiple channels.

What you'll be doing:

• Working with business users to develop the overall look and design of our websites
• Ensuring that user experience determines design choices.
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Ensuring web design is optimized for multiple platforms - laptops and smartphones
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Maintaining company Finance brand consistency throughout design.

The role is based in Helsinki, (2 days per week required in office) where they are forming scrum teams consisting of Front End, Back End and full-stack developers that will work together with architects and product owners within SAFe Agile Release Train.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Front End Developer
• Must have high competence with Angular framework
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Understanding of Server Side CSS/SCSS.
• Understanding of key design principles.
• Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Understanding of SEO principles.

Location: Helsinki (2 days per week at the office, 3 days per week remote) Candidates must already be based in Finland.
