Position: Front-end Developer

Salary: £49,321 to £54,073 per annum

Job Type: Full Time

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Front End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web applications. If you have a passion for coding and a keen eye for design, we want to hear from you.

We are a tech start-up, with a team of strong developers helping to create our MVP which will enable us to generate funding and employ everyone full time. Until then, we are offering you equity in the company until funding is realized within the next 3 months. We ask for a minimum of 12 hours a week to create our MVP.

Main Duties

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Front End Developer or similar role
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development
• Familiarity with wireframing tools and techniques
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure is a plus
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL is a plus
