Job Title: Front Office Business Analyst (CRD & Bloomberg AIM)
Location: EMEA (Benelux or Germany preferred)
Salary/Rate: €500-600 per day
Start Date: 03/03/25
Job Type: 6-12-month initial contract

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a Front Office Business Analyst with CRD & AIM experience to join their team for an initial six or twelve month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

* You will be responsible for driving the analysis, implementation, and improvement of Front Office business processes and technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational needs. You will work closely with stakeholders, including portfolio managers, traders, and client relationship teams, to enhance trading workflows and manage client data effectively.
* Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with Front Office teams (traders, portfolio managers, and client relationship teams) to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements, workflow improvements, and new tools.
* CRD Integration: Support the integration and optimisation of CRD (Client Relationship Development) tools to enhance client interaction, reporting, and engagement. Ensure that the systems are aligned with business strategies and client needs.
* Bloomberg AIM: Utilise Bloomberg AIM to streamline trading, portfolio management, and compliance processes. Work on troubleshooting, configuration, and system enhancements related to Bloomberg AIM.
* Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between Front Office users and the IT department to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues. Develop a deep understanding of both business and technical requirements.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation in trading and client relationship workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
* User Training & Support: Provide training and support to Front Office users on CRD and Bloomberg AIM functionalities. Develop user documentation and ensure smooth adoption of new features.
* Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely data entry, monitoring, and reporting, particularly in relation to client information and trading data.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all systems and processes adhere to regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

* At least of 3-5 years commercial experience in a Front Office business analysis role, preferably within an investment bank, asset management firm, or hedge fund.
* CRD Knowledge: Experience working with Client Relationship Development (CRD) tools or similar CRM systems, and a strong understanding of how these systems integrate with Front Office processes.
* Bloomberg AIM Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Bloomberg AIM (Asset and Investment Manager), including trade execution, portfolio management, and system configuration.
* Business Analysis Skills: Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional specifications writing. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Stakeholder Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
* Data Management: Strong understanding of data management practices in a Front Office environment, including trade and client data.
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with various Front Office systems and software, including Excel, SQL, and other reporting or data analysis tools.
* Regulatory Awareness: Knowledge of financial regulations and how they affect Front Office operations (MiFID II, SEC regulations, etc.).
* Education: A degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

* Experience with other financial systems (eg, Aladdin, Charles River, Trade Order Management Systems) is a plus.
* Knowledge of financial products (equities, Fixed Income, derivatives) and trading workflows.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
