Fund Accountant

Job Title: Fund Accountant

Location: London

Contract Length: 6-Month

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accountant for a 6-month fixed-term contract to join a leading financial services organisation in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team and gain valuable experience in the fund accounting field.

What will you do?

1. Understand the products in the relevant funds and coordinate the production of daily, weekly, or monthly NAVs by reconciling fund valuations with administrators.
2. Adhere to Pricing and Valuation Policies, investigating and resolving valuation issues, significant price fluctuations, cash breaks, and trade capture issues.
3. Obtain internal sign-off of portfolio valuations and returns from the portfolio management team on a daily basis.
4. Ensure that management and performance fees are accurately calculated and charged to the funds on a timely basis.
5. Liaise with external auditors as required.
6. Ensure that accurate and timely reporting from Fund Accounting is provided to both internal and external recipients.
7. Assist with periodic reporting submissions to fund regulators.
8. Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
