"At the female factor, we are dedicated to leveling the playing field for ambitious women worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to step into the role of CMO over the next 6-12 months, supported by coaching and mentorship. We're looking for someone who already has experience across various areas of marketing and is ready to learn, grow, and take ownership of our brand to help us make an even bigger impact." - Tanja, co-founder & current CMO

Tasks

We're searching for a future CMO eager to grow into the role with the right support and hands-on experience. You'll start by mastering core marketing execution and processes, and with time, you'll grow into a leadership position, driving strategy and overseeing our brand.

Your area of responsibility:

In the first months, you'll work closely with our interim CMO to master core areas like social media, ads, website updates, copywriting, and design. You'll create briefs for campaigns and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless execution. Alongside this, leadership coaching will help you build the skills to transition into a strategic role.

As CMO, you'll own the marketing strategy, lead campaigns, and oversee our products and brand's growth. You'll collaborate with leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and use data to refine strategies and deliver results, shaping the future of our marketing efforts.

Requirements

You'd excel in this role:

  1. You've worked across marketing areas: You've gained experience in areas like social media, ads, design, copywriting, and websites, and you're ready to bring it all together.
  2. You're used to a fast-paced multifaceted environment: Prior work experience in an agency, in a fast-growing startup, or as a freelancer is absolutely preferred.
  3. You're ready to grow: You're excited to step into the role of CMO within the next 6-12 months, with personalized training and support along the way.
  4. You're a team player: You've collaborated with small teams or cross-functional teams like design, product, and leadership and know how to bring people together.
  5. You're brand-obsessed: You care deeply about crafting campaigns that resonate and maintaining a strong brand identity.
  6. You're proactive: You have a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset and can manage multiple tasks and projects with ease. You're tech-savvy: Familiarity with tools like Canva, Airtable, ClickUp, Slack, and website CMS platforms (like Wix) is a plus.

At the female factor, our unique culture thrives on dreaming big and doing the work to make it happen. We value clear communication and collaboration, embrace feedback as a tool for growth, and take ownership of our work while striving for efficiency. Thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment is part of who we are. If these values resonate with you, you'll feel right at home here.
