General Accountant - Windsor

We're seeking a General Accountant to join our Group Finance team in Windsor. This role is key to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our accounting processes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and processing a variety of general ledger transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Taking ownership of balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Supporting period-end close activities, working to strict deadlines.
• Maintaining key financial controls and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial integrity and provide insights.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles, VAT, and reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience in general ledger accounting, balance sheet management, and period-end close.
• Experience with key financial controls and process optimisation.
• Organised, detail-focused, and a proactive problem solver.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
