In this pivotal role, you will shape strategy, drive execution, and collaborate closely with Propeller's global teams.
You'll lead a high-performing go-to-market (GTM) team, driving consistent and accelerated revenue growth while building a strong foundation for long-term success.
ResponsibilitiesStrategic leadership
- Define and execute the European GTM strategy, setting ambitious goals aligned with global objectives.
- Manage the European P&L, ensuring sustainable growth and financial health.
- Solidify and expand core European markets.
Build high-performing teams
- Hire and support a diverse, high-performing team across multiple locations (currently Netherlands, Germany, UK, Spain, and Poland). Foster an environment of learning, accountability, and collaboration.
- Develop future leaders by promoting growth and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Sales Execution
- Drive key revenue targets, including new sales, net ARR, and customer acquisition.
- Coach and support the sales team, ensuring they have the tools and training to succeed.
Operational Impact
- Enhance systems and processes to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Ensure regional alignment with global initiatives, policies, and goals.
Data-Driven Insights
- Leverage data to measure and adapt revenue strategies, embedding a data-focused approach within the team.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in growing European go-to-market teams in dynamic environments.
- Proven experience in technology sales, with a preference for SaaS experience.
- Familiarity with target industries such as construction, mining, waste management, or aggregates.
- Based in the UK, Netherlands, or Germany, with regular travel across key markets.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven experience in sales management, including direct sales to new and existing customers. Success in building and leading teams that consistently meet or exceed targets, while fostering positive customer relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing P&L and aligning team goals with revenue targets and market conditions. Ability to set clear priorities, create a culture of execution and invest in the right places to generate results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect effectively in hybrid (remote and in-office) settings. You inspire confidence across the organization through clear and open communication.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to build strong relationships, resolve conflicts constructively, and encourage collaboration across teams.
- A current and clear understanding of the European market, with the ability to adapt strategies to regional needs.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones.
