We have an exciting opportunity to join our stunning Hotel du Vin in Exeter as General Manager. We're looking for a leader, someone who will understand that running a successful business isn't just about exceeding the brand standards, or having a super P&L. We want someone who will look after the team and by developing them, will deliver the expectation of first-class service.

In this role you're a real organiser who loves leading and motivating your team. You will be driving the brand strategy in all elements of the business and set Hotel Du Vin apart from the competition as a preferred employer and destination to stay, eat and drink.

You will understand how to maximise revenue within the business by looking at the bigger picture, managing the detail through your department managers and team will be second nature and leading from the front to set the example is something you are no stranger to.

Our Hotel du Vin in Exeter is your sanctuary in the city's heart, just a stone's throw from the enchanting Cathedral Green. Housed in a former Eye Infirmary, our building's distinctive architecture and historic walled gardens contribute to an exceptional and unique experience. Each of our 59 exquisite rooms in Exeter is individually fashioned, featuring comfortable beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, and either power showers or roll-top baths.

With a library, lounge, bar & bistro, spa, swimming pool, terrace and garden there is a lot on offer for our guests. This is a popular location with a strong focus on food & beverage, we are, therefore, looking for someone with previous experience in managing a similar sized hotel and operation.
